In the privacy of the Brazilian equatorial forests, engineers have been working for several years on a product that can revolutionize aviation. This is an aircraft that combines the advantages of a drone, a helicopter, and a jet. Importantly, the whole project is now being tokenized. This means that anyone can now buy shares in their venture (in the form of TDRONE tokens). In this post, I will show you what Tupan Aircraft Company is working on, what the rules are for investing in its product and how to do it step by step.

Tupan Drone – product description

The full and official name of the new aircraft is the Tupan Cargo Aircraft. It is designed and created by an experienced group of Brazilian engineers and scientists focused around the Tupan Aircraft Company. The company was established as a subsidiary company of Tupan, which I mentioned in one of my previous articles.

What is Tupan Drone?

When writing about this product, I’m not sure if the word ‘drone’ or ‘aircraft’ is more appropriate. The strength of the Tupan Cargo Aircraft lies in the fact that it introduces a new category of aircraft or at least combines several categories into one aircraft. For simplicity, I’ll use the term ‘drone’, but I don’t know if it will be adopted in the future for this type of machine.

Tupan Drone as an HSVSTOL

To get a firsthand look at what we’re talking about, I suggest starting by watching a video of the first tests of the TUPAN-RC 300, which is the smallest of the drones discussed:

The first thing that stands out is the similarity to a large drone, the ability to take off vertically, and a characteristic sound similar to a jet engine. However, once it reaches a certain altitude, it can reach speeds similar to passenger airplanes.

The Tupan Drone is essentially a HSVSTOL aircraft, which stands for High Speed and Vertical/Short Take-Off and Landing. This allows for a combination of two important features: high speed and the ability for vertical takeoff and landing. Attempts to create HSVSTOL aircraft took place in the mid-20th century, but none of them were successful enough to achieve commercial success. My research indicates that such vehicles only existed in the US military. However, this was a completely different type of machine, serving different purposes and was twice as slow as the Tupan Drone.

Existing alternatives to Tupan Drone

Among existing popular aerial vehicles, we can currently distinguish jet planes, helicopters and drones. Each of them has its own advantages and limitations. Planes are fast and have a large range, but they need a long runway, which limits their use in less accessible areas. Helicopters don’t have this problem, but they fly much slower, are extremely fuel-hungry and very expensive to operate. Conventional drones are cheaper, but their range, speed, and payload leave much to be desired.

Compared to the competition, the Tupan Drone performs very favorably.

• quite a long range – up to 1200 km
• high cruising speed – up to 850 kph
• high load capacity – up to 600 kg
• low fuel consumption
• high altitude – up to 33,000 ft (the same altitude as passenger airplanes)
• the capability of vertical takeoff

The propulsion system of the Tupan Drone consists of propellers and jet engines, which are activated depending on the type and phase of flight.

Types of Tupan Drone and their performances

The basic Tupan Drone will be produced in 4 basic versions, mainly different in size, which also affects different performances and applications. Below I present the planned performance of each machine:

Each of the models will be fully autonomous. This means that he will not need a pilot or any man to supervise his flight. This will be achieved thanks to a navigation system consisting of appropriate sensors and special software. The image from the camera placed on the drone will be able to be sent to the ground along with all flight data. If necessary, it will also be possible to change the route or direction of the flight already during the flight.

The drone will have the ability to land with the cargo or to only drop the cargo.

Potential Applications of Tupan Drone

Due to the drone’s large technical capabilities, it can be used in many situations.

• Cargo delivery – transport of all goods that currently take place using trucks, trains, ships, and airplanes. Each of the above means of transport has its disadvantages, which can be reduced with the help of the Tupan Drone.
• Army – Tupan Drone is suited for military transport because of its vertical takeoff, high cargo capacity, and ability to drop off its load without landing. If armed, it could also be used directly in combat.
• Observations – can be used to monitor difficult to access areas during accidents or mass events, and for military reconnaissance.
• Medical transport – For example, rapid transport of organs for transplantation between hospitals in different cities.
• Rescue – Delivering food and medical supplies to remote areas
• Fire detection and fire fighting – Rapid transport and dropping of water to inaccessible areas affected by fire.
• Agriculture – Monitoring crops and dispensing of chemicals.
• Support to oil platforms – Rapid deliveries of products and spare parts for the crew.

Tupan Drone – Investment Principles

Thanks to tokenization technology, each of us at this early stage of the project’s existence can become a shareholder in Tupan Aircraft Company. The company will be partially tokenized and will become partly a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization). Possession of TDRONE tokens associated with Tupan Aircraft Company will be equivalent to owning shares in this organization. The price of these tokens will be subject to similar laws as traditional company shares. Assuming the success of the entire venture, you therefore have the right to also expect a significant increase in the value of the tokens you own.

ZENIQ Ecosystem

At the moment, the only way to invest in Tupan Drone and acquire TDRONE tokens is through the ZENIQ ecosystem. In short, it is a cryptocurrency platform that has built a technical infrastructure (its own blockchain, hardware infrastructure, etc.) to support various projects with an emphasis on tokenization projects. You can read about the details of the ZENIQ ecosystem in one of my previous articles. This article also describes the Tupan company itself, which was initially the owner of the Tupan Drone patent.

Minting TDRONE – rules

Investment in Tupan Drone involves purchasing a “TDRONE Minting Node”. This is a hardware device maintained in the ZENIQ server farm, which is responsible for minting (creating, mining) TDRONE tokens for its owner. The entire process will take place on the ZENIQ Smartchain, similar to other projects in the ZENIQ ecosystem.

The maximum number of nodes available for sale is 1.5 million, and the maximum supply of TDRONE tokens is 10 billion. Half of the amount spent on nodes is taken into account when settling the SAFIR/ZENIQ partnership program.

The start of token production will take place in April or May of this year. The amount of coins mined will decrease over time. Additionally, the moment of purchasing the “TDRONE Minting Node” is also important. This is due to the so-called time halving and sales halving.

Time halving

The time halving will consist of the fact that from the start of token production, the minting pace will gradually decrease with the passage of time. Every day, the amount of mined tokens will minimally decrease at such a pace that after one year, the yield will be half as much. For example, if your node on the day of the premiere will be mining 100 TDRONE tokens daily, after one year it will be 50 TDRONE, after two years 25 TDRONE per day, etc.

Sales halving

“The sales halving, on the other hand, will reward those who invest in the project early enough. The earlier the node is purchased, the higher the so-called minting power it will have. By purchasing the node on the launch day, you will get a minting power of 100%. This means that you will start receiving 100 TDRONE tokens daily. The minting power for subsequent devices will decrease by 1% after the sale of each subsequent 2000 nodes.

Currently, until February 15, 2023, a pre-sale promotion is taking place, in which the purchase of a node results in obtaining a minting power value of 115%. After this period, the minting power will decrease to 110%, and then during the Pre-Sale phase, it will decrease by 1% per week until the basic 100% on the launch day.

By investing at an appropriate time, you can thus ensure yourself a higher than standard amount of TDRONE tokens that no one will ever receive later.

TDRONE – Investment Terms

Every person has the right to purchase any number of “TDRONE Minting Node” nodes. By default, for a new customer, the price of a single node is 1298 Euros, and this is the most basic form of investment.

It is also possible to reduce your investment by purchasing a certain share in a single node, or vice versa – buying a larger amount in bulk. The unit price will be lower the more quantity you decide to purchase.

The entry price may be slightly lower if we already have the so-called ZENIQ Minting Hub – the device on which our node is actually located. The cost of purchasing such a ZENIQ Minting Hub is 1,498 Euro. ZENIQ Minting Hub is described in more detail in the article about ZENIQ. Currently, the most important benefit of having it is the ability to purchase nodes of new projects in the corresponding amount at a discount of approx. 23%. If you have one ZENIQ Minting Hub, you can therefore purchase one “TDRONE Minting Add-On” for 998 Euros.

So if you like the ZENIQ ecosystem itself and you intend to invest in similar tokenization projects in the future, it may be worth buying ZENIQ Minting Hub first, and then “TDRONE Minting Add-On” at a discount. Otherwise, it is not worth it and you just need to buy the right amount of “TDRONE Minting Node”.

Fill out the form with your basic details and click the confirmation link in the email you will receive. After clicking, you can immediately log in to your account at safir.com.

When logging in for the first time, you will receive information that if you lose access to your account, the only way to recover it will be to verify your identity. However, to make it possible, you should first go through the KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure. You can do it at this point or later. It is required to provide only such data as: name, surname, nationality as well as the number and expiry date of the identity document. At the moment, there is no need to scan and send any documents.

Deposit

To purchase any product, you should first make a deposit to your account. The easiest method is to fund your account with cryptocurrencies. To do this, go to the menu tab “Balance” and then “Deposit Crypto”. We can choose from BTC, BCH, ETH, EURO and LTC. I recommend LTC (Litecoin) for the first deposit due to its popularity and low transfer costs.

After selecting the cryptocurrency, click the button to the right of “Get Litecoin Address” to get the address for depositing. After a while, in the place of the button, you will see a QR code and the address of the wallet to which you should transfer. In principle, you can send any amount. It will be automatically converted into Euro, added to your account and visible at the top of the menu, just below your avatar. You can now use the deposited amount to purchase selected products.

Purchase of TDRONE Minting Node

When you have decided to make a purchase, go to the “Shop” tab and select “Products”. On the list of products, find “TDRONE Minting Node” or “TDRONE Minting Shares” (for the purchase of part of the node). If you already have a ZENIQ Minting Hub, you can choose the cheaper “TDRONE Minting Add-On”. Pay attention to the specified minting power – this will be the performance of your copy. After making a selection, click “Buy”, check the required approvals and follow the next instructions.

Project tracking

As in any business, it’s important to stay on top of things and make sure everything is in its place. After purchasing, you can go to the TDRONE tab to see your nodes. If you have a ZENIQ Minting Hub, you can find information about it under the tab ZENIQ –> ZENIQ Hubs.

I am not an expert in the aviation industry, but it seems that an aircraft combining the advantages of a jet, a helicopter, and a drone has the chance to become a revolution. The list of possible applications of such a product is quite impressive.

purchasing a node to earn TDRONE tokens is not a short-term investment. It is important to remember that there may not be an option to sell the node and quickly recover your invested funds. When the tokens start to flow into our account, we will also likely have to wait a certain period of time before they can be sold on the open market at a good price. I am not able to provide information about when this will be possible at this time.

In general, investing in the Tupan Drone project is still in its early stages of development and more details will be announced in the future. However, based on my observation of other projects in the ZENIQ ecosystem, I can confirm that all ZENIQ products are being developed continuously, various events are being held regularly, and the community is focused on long-term development. The creators do not promise quick profits and do not use simple marketing tricks. Instead, they prioritize stable growth and constant improvement of their products, which I personally find very appealing.

Token ownership in such a revolutionary project can be very valuable in the future. Just remember that you are solely responsible for your financial decisions and even the best-looking project may not end in success.
